Laminak
Laminak is a long established Second Life vendor providing high quality items with a gothic or medieval design that will be suitable for anyone involved in that style of role play, including pirate, vampire or general fantasy games.
The store itself is designed in a gothic theme, and devotes a different floor to each type of furnishing to enable easier browsing of items, with buyers being able to quickly find the type of item they are looking for. Each floor has a mix of styles covering the themes mentioned above. There are also a small number of items available outside the front of the store.
The ground floor contains indoor furnishings for social areas, most within a castle type setting. There are a wide variety of fireplaces and sofas, and each sofa has a choice of upholstery, providing buyers with a massive selection. Some of the sofas are large, but the store has set up demo products to enable buyers to check first and therefore not waste their lindens. Also on the ground floor is a selection of formal tables and chairs for the dining experience, and bookcases designed to fit into a number of different types of room. All of the wall mountings, shields, pictures and lighting are also available to buy.
The next floor up focuses on bedrooms and again each bed has a mix and match ability with the upholstery. Different styles to suit the different themes have also been included. Impressively, a good deal of thought has gone into the bedroom design with bathroom items included in the bedroom designs, as would have been true of the period design. These include full sized baths and smaller wash basins.
The top floor is split into two with half of the area being devoted to a number of different themed houses for sale and the other half having items specifically designed for the king and queen of the castle.
