The EduNation islands are focused on the potential for Virtual Worlds (VWs) to enhance the language learning process and is maintained by a community of educators who contribute towards paying for the rent of the islands in Second Life. EduNation is also the host of the annual SLanguages Conference in Second Life and was host to the AVALON project (2009-2010). We run regular workshops and teacher meetings, exhibitions, tours to interesting sims for language learning etc. Also we run the annual EVO Sessions, an initiative by TESOL Conventions CALL Special Interest Group. MachinEVO, EVOVillage etc.
