If you had to pick a single word to describe the location, style and designers' eye on display at the boutique style store occupied by Pixeladdict, that word would have to be "Pretty".

Set in a specialised commercial district, Pixeladdict's store certainly stands out, being one of the biggest builds on the Sim - two stores high and taking up more floorspace than most of the surrounding businesses, the store imposes in its' surroundings and impresses from the outset.

Inside, the store is bright and airy, with large pot plants and a fountain providing an air of sophistication. Vendor boards are arranged with minimalist simplicity and the boards which don't line the wall are easy to approach and large enough to be perfectly visible from across the store.

When it comes to the clothes on offer, there is a tendency with clothes makers in Second Life to sacrifice elegance and simplicity of line in favour of making the customer look tacky and the clothes look cheap. This is not something the clothes at Pixeladdict suffer from. There is an understated style to their women's range - where even the trashy-looking "Bad Girl" outfit adorning one of the big window displays on this particular visit is a clear step above the usual, with intricate detailing marking the difference between this low priced but certainly not low class outfit and it's rivals at the same price point in other, less attentive, less skilful businesses.

Away form the big eye-catching window displays is the meat of Pixeladdicts' collection - and where the "Pretty" really shows. You have walls lined with well designed and detailed separates - leggings, peasant tops, jeans, spaghetti-strap tops, and dresses - all with an easy style and an elegance which makes the range look - frankly - a lot more expensive than it actually is.

Pixeladdict's prices will surprise the visitor - with most of their products being on offer for significantly below L$100.

Storecards are available at the front desk, which have the useful feature of being rechargeable, meaning you can top your card up with Linden Dollars once you find your funds running a little low. With the card denominations on offer, it would be easy to imagine that a gift of a Pixeladdict Storecard could lead to a rather satisfying and rewarding shopping excursion.
