The Russian Welcome Area is a location in Second Life that offers a lot of information about Second Life and the medical field. I do not read Russian myself so I will be writing this review based on what I observe and my reactions to it. This place is very big so there is a lot to explore. The Russian Welcome Area is different than anything I have seen in Second Life but very unique and informative.
The first building I visited here has many photos of doctors performing medical tasks and medical information. It looks very clean and well presented. There are vending machines available if you would like a snack while taking in all of the useful information if you were interested in medical facts. This would be a great place for a person attending medical school to visit.
The second building I visited seems to have information about different types of Second Life objects and scripts. There is a lot of information in this building so they have laid out arrows to help guide you along the path. This is very helpful with everything there is to take in!
I also saw some other random things while I was visiting The Russian Welcome Area. When you first arrive you will land at a chess set which would be great for relaxing in the sun while playing a game with a friend. They also have a basic prim modification guide and a sunken ship.
Overall I was very impressed with the sheer volume of information available at The Russian Welcome Area. This is a great place to visit if you need help with building or scripting. It is also a great place to visit if you are interested in the medical field. If any of this interests you I would highly suggest giving this place a visit.
